Hello!
I would like to first say: I dont meen to offend anyone or say I dont want to be friends with those who may not be Christian. On to the point: I am trying to focuse my life back on to God. While not doing so, my life quickly spiraled out of control and I would like to be friends, penpals, etc with some people who could share support back and forth with me in this endevor and also understand how I have been feeling dealing with depression. Please reply here and/or PM me. I sincerely hope we can be good support for eachother in christ.

You will find several here who do want to connect that way. It's quite a struggle on the forums these days, unfortunately, but you can look here:
http://togetherinfaith.psychcentral.net/ The main disadvantage is that it's hard to participate and interact much on the blogs. You can comment on posts, and set up a blog of your own (I would be happy to add a link if you do), but not everyone has learned how to use the blogs, so we are losing a lot of the people who need the connection the most. I agree that focusing on God can help a lot with depression, and being able to talk about God, beliefs, and mental health is important for a lot of us. That was what I originally thought we were given this forum for, but I was wrong, and we are trying to find other ways. Keep reaching out. We'll reach back.

There is a Bible Study/Christian chat every Monday night at 6 pm PDST. If you'll look in General and find a post titled "Reminder" you'll find all the information you need. The chat is in a private room but the name is obvious. You'll have to access it from any other room in chat.
At the bottom of this post, you'll find a link to my blog that is dedicated to our faith. It is also tied in with Rapunzel's blog.  Hope to hear from you again, soon.

for me , its not whether i connect with christians or muslims, it is how do i connect withGod ,what it means to them ,and how they define God, if they can , God is love , understanding, compassion, self giving, forgiveness this is a valid post though, and much appericiated thank you love and love

Holdingon, I have set up a blog account but haven't used it, lol. But I do post on the Rapunzel and SeptemberMorn's blogs.
alevin, Rapunzel's blog, "Together in Faith" is a blog for people of all faiths to come and share in their beliefs. It is open to everyone so if there are things other than Christian that you would like to discuss with others you might find it a very useful tool to post questions or comments. FarmerFrank, As SeptemberMorn said above, we would love for you to participate as well! The more the merrier! I am so excited to see others are interested in sharing and learning together! recluse1 |

I know I absolutely do need fellowship with others. We all have something to offer and we all have much room to grow. And doing this as a group , where we can support, nurture, and learn from one another, it helps us all in our efforts to grow closer to each other and to God.
For me, it is an absolute blessing! |

Yes, Christians do need to fellowship with other Christians. I suppose it is a common thread among all beliefs?
