Thank you ((NWTR))

I always wondered why people thought money provided happiness. I always wondered why people thought luxury provided comfort. I always wondered why people thought guns and other weapons of mass destruction would keep them safe or promote peace. I always wondered why people thought drugs and alcohol would provide peace of mind or resolve issues in their lives. I always wondered why people weren't satisfied with "enough" - they always seem to want more. I always wondered why people never appreciated the simple things in life. prayer for humanity - very trigging

It's so sad to watch people suffer after a natural disaster like tornados, earthquakes, and hurricanes. prayer for humanity - very trigging It's so hard to watch them cry out for the simple things in life. prayer for humanity - very trigging

((Muffy))

We had a big tornado pop up out of nowhere on Saturday, life a thief in the night. It destroyed some homes and an apartment complex, but no one was injured. It was nice to hear a woman speak of her neighbors rushing to her side to help after she'd lost everything, without having to check her nametag, race or social status first. It was nice to see them not attempt to take the belongings she had left from her. prayer for humanity - very trigging

I don't do much wondering either - it's been reduced to shaking my head slowly, side to side.

I don't even worry about tornadoes anymore. My husband says he wants to build a shelter, but I remind him we'd never use it. Whenever the tornado sirens go off, he usually goes outside to fire up the grill or mow the lawn. prayer for humanity - very trigging I just lay in bed and listen to music, trying to calm my dog because she's afraid of storms. This house survived one tornado - won't survive another.

Not to make light of the tragedy, but I had to laugh at the TV tornado warning with the computerized voice. We have a town south of us called Monee (pronounced Mow-knee). The voice said "A large tornado has been spotted on the ground near money." prayer for humanity - very trigging I told my husband to hold onto his wallet - and grab a net. I've decided to name this tornado "Rob." Hopefully, those people will be able to replace what has been taken from them.

no joke, you get my nomination for the nobel peace prize KathyM...

all joking and ego stroking aside, this is a serious matter and i know you know it also... i know you have no intent to harm at a time like this... heaven knows laughter is important... i always love your bright grinning smiles KathyM... prayer for humanity - very trigging

in so many ways i admire the bravery you have shown thru hard times and for you i surmise the predictions of the video are not new considerations at all... and you still persevere with a will to show the way to the enlightenments of education, justice, kindness and more.....

you must have had awesome teachers....

prayer for humanity - very trigging

helping one another, that is really cool.... prayer for humanity - very trigging

</div></font></blockquote><font class="post">

that is how i took it muffy, as a wake up call... it sends me an alert that time is realy critical.. how do we stop pollutants? the damage has already been done.. we would have to put a stop to industry, yesterday was too late.. i think we all need to take shelter.. thats just my two...

sorry, didnt mean to cause a panic, and certainly not a debate or blame game.. there's no time for that imo... loving each other thru the hard times to come would help... loving ourselves is very important now too...

so many people and including myself have been waiting for the cure... standing and watching in fear as the monsters grew... and frankly, overwhelmed by it all...

its time we stopped what we were doing and examine this as a whole (just my two)

people have always been good in heart is my opinion... if i examine the history of mankind as a whole, i see a growing and stumbling child... Spirit has always been there to lift him up....

its time people recognized they have more power than evil imo.... that there is no savior, that they themselves are the savior they are seeking, as a whole, working together...... just my two... stop waiting for the messiah (it would be cool if he appeared tho prayer for humanity - very trigging ) .... people are the power, each one of us...

((muffy))))) prayer for humanity - very trigging

Aw, thanks ((NWTR and Muffy))

Yeah, I'd like to clarify that I am NOT laughing at the situation or the pain of others. My heart goes out to all the victims. It's merely an emotional release due to the realization there is very little we can control in life. In the end, it's God's will - not ours.

My sarcastic jokes are a way for me to remain as balanced as possible when facing overwhelming challenges beyond my control. I want to help, but I don't know how. I only know I'd be of no use at all if I allowed myself to completely drown in their sorrow.
