Life is… (Mother Teresa 1910-1997)

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Life is beauty, admire it.

Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.

Life is a game, play it.

Life is a promise, fulfill it.

Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.

Life is a tragedy, confront it.

Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is luck, make it.

Life is too precious, do not destroy it.

Life is life, fight for it.

In summary, "Life is better lived." Life Is...

I used to get a kick out of watching her in action. That fragile little old lady had more courage and strength than anyone I had ever seen. Life Is... Definitely someone you'd want to have in your corner. Looked like she knew how to use a frypan or wooden spoon as a weapon too Life Is... only she used it to protect and nourish her people. Life Is...

May she rest in peace.

Thanks Christina Life Is...

She was very um stubborn...standing up for what she believed was right, regardless of what anyone else thought. She got her way which she always said was God's will. Life Is... Just like with others today, not everyone agreed and some caused her much grief. That's how it is when you believe you are following God. She was terrific.

Yes Muffy I must agree with what you are saying about Mother Teresa. She was a kind and gentle spirit who devoted her life to people who were in need. She is like many missionaries of today. I think its one of the most self less acts another human can do is to help another who is in need.

I can picture her scurrying about tending to the needs of her people with a smile on her face, all bent over and crooked. You KNOW she had to have been in a lot of pain. She knew she was a "VIP," but she never asked for a castle, a new dress or even a pillow from her people.

IMO, a true definition of a giver.

I have read much of what this wonderful human being has written. She had many ideas about Love, God and especially Forgiveness...

I have always admired her open and affirming example for her fellow Christians which speaks volumes about attraction rather than promotion for any carrier of any message....

For one so humble to us as human and to her God,,her deep respect for the immense power of acceptance would serve us all well...

Lenny

Her thoughts on this...

"There is only one God and He is God to all;
therefore it is important that everyone is seen as equal before God.
I've always said we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu,
a Muslim become a better Muslim,
a Catholic become a better Catholic. "

Mother Teresa

I went to a catholic school growing up. She was a constant in our daily lives there. Always trying to follow her example as a human being. Silly as it may sound, sometimes when I didnt think God was listening to me, I thought Mother Teresa was. I think just because I could visualize her reaching out to comfort people. And I thought she could do that with all the abuse I was going thru with my brother. Don't get me wrong, I knew God was there for me to, but she just helped me feel more at peace at the time.

"God doesn't require us to succeed; he only requires that you try."
Mother Teresa
