Do i believe in reincarnation. I can say yes I do. I believe and these are just my thoughts there are ppl who have not finished their deeds out on earth
that desire to do that is so strong it may bring them back.In another form. My Mom use to believe ppl sometimes came back as crickets. At night when we would hear them singing she would say there is so and so.
Who was I to disagree with her. As I said in years of growing I do believe in it. It gives me a comfortable feeling to know that some wheres out there could be one of my loved ones walking this earth
as some animal. or person. or insect. Finishing something they may have needed to do.
My grandfather, everytime i see a hawk ....i smile and think there goes his spirit.
just my thoughts btw

I wouldn't say "value", value for others perhaps - but for you as an individual it requires a complete loss of ego and doing whatever people ask you to do, even if it's considered to be bad. Since I can't mention religion, I can't go into details. But let's just say that if you were vegan and someone offered you a piece of rotten meat - you would have to eat it because you couldn't deny that person the good karma. And you can't do good things -because- you want good karma, you have to do them because you want to do good.
It also requires a complete loss of desire, including the desire to end the cycle.

And when you get to the point where you're released from your human vessel and you have the option to end the cycle for you - you can't. Because at that point, you've achieved perfect compassion and you have to help everybody else achieve the same. And so the cycle continues.

I can't stand how the theory of reincarnation and karma have gone from being about being selfless and denying your ego, to be about being reincarnated so that you can "learn" from life for your own benefit.
Same thing happened with "the secret", it annoys me so much.

(((Theama))))
I read this and thought much about the rotten meant thought? And Karma....
For me without a doubt I would not eat the rotten meat, nor let anyone eat it. Plus I would take that persons hands and wash them so as they would not become ill.
I would rather do with out the good karma than see someone ill or dead from it.
I could not ever willing harm anyone. Not for good karma or any reason.
Just my thoughts.
People are more important to me.

your viewpoint causes me to think a lot about my own feelings... i see many objects and lifeforms around us to carry this un-named spirit you are speaking of... the way a rock remains sedentary until a greater force causes its movement is in one way very spiritual for me and that spirit (immovable) may reproduce (reincarnate?) itself in many ways such as a mountain or even the moon... science teaches us that these objects are in fact movable but the image of solidness is something we are currently capable of imagining and from this we may draw a spirit, energy, and strength of such ideas as immovable will...

putrid meat should be reported immediately....

i am grateful mighty Spirit for your presence here

What did someone do in thierr life that deserves to come back as a slug or an insect.

I believe that a person can hagve dual lives come back to complete an unfinished purpose. The whole realm of re-incarnation is unproven to the fact because there isn't pure evidence.

I was taught to belive in multiple religions to understand diversity amongst my fellow people.

The American Indians shape shift becoming a animal for the greater need of thier people.

As far as the whole good bad karma thing i'm against one person throwing thier belief on all of us. If i believe that a way that i acheive karma is right for me it doesnt mean that i am incorrect it WORKS for me.

I applaud the ones that can give to others because even though it might be used ... it is still giving .... not all people give for a reward they give bewcause they are willing to give and have the ability to do so

jumps off the soap box

Tymber

My mom believed the person choose to be a insect . She never thought it to be a bad thing. SHe loved to hear the singing . At night it soothed her.
We had alot of ppl who sang in the family. Thats why she it made her feel good. Plus she gardened and found insects to be of great value

I do not think you were on your soap box at all

hi Tymber, i am glad you added your thoughts here... your mom is smart to teach you about other religions/faiths and teach you that friendly togetherness accomplishes more than divisions.. as far as the slugs and insects are concerned i really dont know.. maybe if i was one i would really enjoy it ... unknowns cause us to respond with our true inner self .. ive learned that friendliness is usually the best approach to all... if there is something that i discover in the process to cause me a fear then i will examine it when needed... you matter.
