I just spoke with my Sunday School teacher who informed me that my Sunday School class has been dissolved. They said it was lack of interest. My class was small and I liked it that way. Of course I haven't been there in over a year but always liked the idea that if and when I chose to go back it would be there. I don't have that option now.

For some reason it seems that the singles ministry doesn't grow and I don't know why. The men's class is still going on so it must be growing but the women's class hasn't and we are no more.

We have tried several things but no one seems to want to come to our class.

I am bothered by the fact that I don't have a soft place to land now and feel abandoned. I know that isn't the case and this is just something I'm going to have to deal with.

Jan

How sad for you. How sad completely.

Did you know that Dr Billy Graham was in a Sunday School class of ONE??? His teacher was committed to serving whomever God sent him. Thankfully, he was.

Hi Jan

Unsure of your age I am reluctant to ask why you have not been in over a year, and if so, is there a underlying issue maybe that could drive the emotion you might be feeling. If you have not been in over a year, what have you been doing ?

sure church is good, but IMO Church can be wherever your spiritual connection to God is shared with others. Without even mention of God I have felt like I was in church. Sometimes Imo peoples actions do their talking for them.

Get out and about....if you are able to drive ....just brainstorm a bit and try to find at least one person to do it with....or go somewhere like a flea market and socialize by yourself, go to a club etc..
