Is there life after death? I need to know. Does anyone know? Am I asking an impossible question? Please tell me there is!

You know what I believe, Pegasus. Of course there is! Many religions teach it. Aside from that, almost everyone believes in "ghosts". These aren't happy spirits, but they do exist. That definitely means "life" after the death of the body. I've had contact with a few; two family members and others that I didn't know. Some scared me and some didn't.

I believe there is an after life. This week I saw my Mom who has passed on in my dreams. She was healthy and looked great...and was safe at her parent's home.
Thanks for this!

Thank you friends, I am grieving and trying to figure it all out! Probably spend all my life trying to figure it all out.

I found an interesting article in trying to google it.

Life after death and the Journey through the spirit world

It seems to make some sense to me.

I also believe there is an after life...death of our current "body" does not mean we vanish, it means we/our spirits go on to another plane.
Jmo, of course.

The article was interesting and I thank you for the link to it.

I definatly belive that there is life after death. The spirit never dies. Some people belive that when you pass thats it, that you cease to exist. But in my opinon the body is just a vessle that carries your spirit through this life.

I don't think there really is a way to know.

Thats kind of what I think it would be if there were life after death, I think though that it would be such a different type of existence beyond the physical world that we really have no way of comprehending it.

Edit: However, I still could not tell you if I think there is a life after death.

Oh Peg.....

Your question is one of the ages...I don't know if there is any other question that has been asked more...

Most of the great religions and spiritual platforms, which are reflections of our deepest beliefs have universarily concluded that the soul continues.

And now science through quantum mechanics and physics is concluding that all matter(us) and all energy(us) are the same wavelike vibrations that collide like different expanding waves upon the pond...Those conflagarations are the reality(s) that we perceive...

And there are higher and lower vibrations and higher and lower realites...

Matter/energy can never be distroyed,,only changed...

It is beyond anything I could accept through science or devinity,,,that you, me and every soul, tree or rock that has ever existed or ever will,,,,will ever cease to exist,,,in some form or matter...there is simply too much evidence to suggest otherwise...

IMHO.

Yes, there is life after death. My faith helps me and my relationship with God helps me to get through this life and He will welcome me home after I die.

This is what I believe: We are a spirit* who has a soul (mind, emotions, will) and who lives in a body. At death our body no longer lives and we go to "Heaven". We do not tell our exact faith on here or I would be more specific. I had no faith and no relationship with God until I was 18 and I could not have made it much longer without an act of desperation. My interactions with God since that time have made a huge difference to my life and have been helping me find the healing I need to deal with my past.

There is a God who loves us and I am so, so glad He does. He showed me the first real love I've ever known. Hugs,

Leslie

By "spirit" I mean the part of us able to receive and be open to God, I don't mean like a ghost.

Of course this being in the spirituality forum lends itself to spiritual replies. I can respond to that another time.

BUT from a strictly scientific viewpoint... humans are energy. No one can destroy energy, so while we may not be in the same form forever, we will always exist in some form of energy.

I was going to post some thing similar, but I saw that SKy had already beat me to it... so I just want to second the thought that "energy never dies"
