I sent my resume by e-mail yesterday and I am about to send another one to a job where my DH works. Wish me the confidence to do well with this new career path I'm heading for.

The little engine who could may come true in my situation!

Good wishes!

Even if this effort doesn't result in what you think you want, it's good self care and confidence builder! Continue on this good path... and I do wish you well, that God will look favorably upon you.

Thank you Sky and Capp

I did feel better yesterday (as well as today). Hey, I feel down right good. First, it was good to find a job posting I could apply to, second, it was good to not naysay myself out of the steps it took to do the e-mailing bit.

I'm even beginning to get back a bit of hope-faith-self-confidense.
I've also just started the book, The Artists Way. I'm loving doing something creative. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and my first stop was to the store that sold 3 subject note books - yet like school supplies and a fresh pack of cheap big mecanical pencils. I bought orange, it matches our kayaks! And in the pack of pencils was a black one with an orange pocket clip, like I said, it matches my newest kayak. It is mostly orange and white with black trim.

Thanks so much for the support. It makes being positive about myself much easier.

Hi Heygimm

Good for you...

You cannot catch fish without bait upon the hook...and cast upon cast into the pool of dreams...

Just the fact that you have casted can lead you to your dreams...but don't get impatient with the fish...they are there...keep casting...

Hi Lenny,

Thank you for the fishing analogy

casting casting...oh poop, the fish just took my worm again and left me standing..but with my rod and bait.

I haven't had any reply from either of the resumes...yet...

I'm just "being" for now.

Even getting some positive vibs rather than yuck stuff in my brain.

I cleaned my kitchen and that was way over due. It will be a pleasure to go in there to cook dinner tonight. there are so many little things I'm doing better at to keep stress and a negative environment out of my life, both mentally and physically.

I'm going for a walk at a locate arboritum right after a healthy lunch. I'm having my hair done tomorrow. I shaved my legs just in case I get called in to interview.

Maybe that's too much information, but I'm taking care of myself and it feels good.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. Bless you all for your support.

You are doing all the right things Heygimm...everything in your universe is seen and experienced through you...We are bystanders in the script of your life,,,but interested ones...

Like the great golfer Tiger Woods describes,,,"I envision the shot before I swing it. I seek perfection. Sometimes I achieve it."

I can't emphasize enough the importance of positive mental imaging. We can literally create our circumstances by what we think...because we are simply,,,what we think...

Your kitchen looks good because you thought it so..and followed those thoughts with action...supported by the positive image of a clean kitchen...

I imagine the same goes for your legs....

Have a nice walk...

Lenny

Lenny, thanks and now I'm off to the park, maybe that will help my legs more the the shaving!

The sky is beautifully blue with a few clouds and I'm going to enjoy all that I see, smell, feel/touch and hear.
