Schizoaffective "chat"... who's interested?

I'd definitely be in favor of this, I'd like to talk to people with similar issues.

I created a room last night called schizoaffective welcome
and we had about 4 or 5 it was good.
So we will keep our eyes open for that chat room eh?

I'll try to look for it. Where would it be under? Like I said, I'm still new and not sure how to use certain things yet.

you go to the chat button
and press whos in chat.
It will show a few rooms
so if you see a schizoaffective named room
go to lobby
press change rooms
click on the room you would like to join
as in Scizoaffective welcome.

Can anyone make a chat room? On the note of being new here... Ha, ha.

And is there a specific time that would work for everyone or a good chunk of people?

I have had two or more chats with the room name
schizoaffective welcome but my night is different time zone
so be brave and go in lobby then change rooms and create
room called along the lines of schizoaffective welcome
and find out who joins your room. Shy ppl take time to
go in that chat room.

to set up a Topical Support Chat, you need to PM a Moderator or John25, the staff chat leader coordinator, and tell him when you would like the chat, and what it's name would be, and who would lead it. it's good to have a back-up chat leader to help in large groups, or take over if you are out for some reason. He will put it on the calendar, then, or give you permission to. Best Wishes with your group... Gus

oh man! this is such a good idea! I am in the chats allllll the time, I frequent the bipolar support chat as it is close to what I "have". (sza bi-polar type) I am struggling to admit I have this disorder, but am slowly coming to terms with it. idk the label makes me feel weak, but I am obviously casebook sza. anyway, I would LOVE a sza chat, if this becomes a possibility can someone send me a pm?!?!! I love this idea! ♡♡♡♡ I will check back, there is alot of posts to sift through, so that is why im asling if someone can pm me. I am currently manic as all get out. heh.

smilesandcries is a pro chatter and would make for an excellent host for SZA Chat!

my diagnosis is still too new for me. I need all the help I can get. I read, and read, but I am not understanding/retaining or able to associate it? But know that others deal with combination mental issues other than myself, to hear how they cope and manage would be more than beneficial to me. I don't know if I have a voice (not referring to the one that whispers in my ear) or not, but I would like to partake in a chat regarding schizoeffective. why should the doctors know more about me than me.

Someone on the schizophrenia board volunteered to host a schizophrenia and psychosis chat not to long ago. Maybe someone from this board should ask about being a co-host.

I could create an IRC channel if anyone is interested, a bit more reliable than the chats here and it's online constantly.

is this chat happening? i um, could possibly be involved as i am always in chat anyway. i don't know how to choose topics or whatever, but i'm willing to learn!!!! i'd really like to know if this is happening...there are alot of us in the regular chat rooms with sza. idk. alijfdjlafj, =)
