Hi in between. I was born in 1973 too. My parents were hippies, but not big into drugs. My mom has paranoid schizophrenia and my dad seemed pretty stable just codependent , he died of cancer. Anyway, i have depression and complex ptsd from childhood trauma. Mom was abusive, more so after dad died. I'm telling you this just because i think we have a bit in common. I' ve always been a bit off. I know dx's are important, i'm sorry i dont know much about schizoaffective disorder. Can you ask the T or Pdoc that diagnosed you what the dx means? And hopefully the link from tsunamisurfer was helpful. Wishing you the best.
