Sometimes people can confuse me and make me to feel threatened. I wonder if this is my illness, or if I have genuine reason to be concerned. Someone in my life currently is doing this. Facts about him, as he has related them, do not add up, it seems to me. His demeanor is odd too. I'll talk to my doctor about my concerns, but he makes the hair on the back of my neck, bristle.

I think all these natural reactions you are having are a warning system to you that this person should not be in your life.

brookwest, it's important to honor your gut reaction and being concerned about somebody's intentions/honesty. Take it slow and don't make yourself too vulnerable until you see signs that you can trust him......D.
