I don't hear voices very often, but when I do, they usually only say a few words, like "good morning", "hey!", or my name. Occasionally, they'll sound like the people around me are speaking my thoughts.

Very argumentative and a real pest. Like a carbon copy of me but worse. Serves me right, maybe.

Mine are more like "chatter". I can't make out exactly what they are saying. It's more like being in a crowded room with a lot of people talking at once. Very annoying.
The 2 or 3 times I have been able to understand what they were saying it was just calling my name. |

Usually I hear voices that sound like I'm in a crowded restaurant, hearing bits and pieces of other people's conversations. Because of a med change, I'm not hearing voices often anymore,
But recently I've heard this one, loud voice that sounded a lot like an abuser of mine and he'd instruct me to do really bad things to myself and my family to protect them and myself. |

Mine were usually a male voice, talking as though passing by me. Can't make any words out. Once a female voice answered the male voice. But,haven't had one since June.

I had several recognizable voices. Didn't like all of them, most of them were just a hassle and spoke to me hours upon hours each day which took all of my attention. They would originate from ceiling level. It really irritated me because I know it was my mind racing and producing thoughts of conversation and my intrusive thoughts just were spoken.
