Anti-Depressants

What's a really good anti-depressant to try?
I got prescribed Celexa, is it any good?

deer, I can't take antiDs. They seem to make my anxiety worse and can make me psychotic. But, the one that seemed to cause the least amount of problems for me was wellbutrin--now, my psychotic issues prevent me from taking it. It's a difficult place to be in if you're schizo or schiza and have depression because of the antiDs causing psychotic symptoms. But, maybe antiDs won't trigger you--we are all different in that respect. I've been taking Latuda for awhile and I'm pretty impressed by it. Its a newer antipsychotic that has some antidepressant qualities to it. I've found that it really helps my anxiety and improves my depression. It probably is not as good for depression as a antiD but it helps it without causing psychotic symptoms..........D.

I'm on celexa and when my life was calm it seemed to work but now things are much different in my life. At most they keep me slightly below "even".

It's an okay AD...typically it causes weight gain and fatigue. I completely agree with depressme-Latuda is a miracle drug for depression and schizo conditions!!

Is Latuda better than Zyprexa?
Should I try it?

I'm on Latuda for sza and PTSD. Not for AD. So I'm not sure about that part of it. But it's wonderful for my psychosis and I take klonopin for anxiety.

Celexa made me not know where i was one day. Totally disoriented. I also tried it again and got hypomanic

Lexapro works for me.

My jaw locked with celexa. Most other anti-depressants made my psychotic but viibryd has been excellent for me possibly because it has anti psychotic qualities.

Wellbutrin worked good for me, I was on it for 6 months, but it caused a manic episode. If you value your sex drive don't take anything other than Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin actually increases sex drive while most other anti depressants will kill it. Just something to think about.

I'm on Lexapro and still have a sex drive. So far, I haven't been depressed in like 6-7 years.

I was never on Lexapro but every antidepressant that I took with the exception of Wellbutrin made my sex drive disappear.

I am on Effexor and Lamictal. Stable.. sorta. lol.

Unfortunately for me, antidepressants make me really "psychotic" so I don't take them anymore. Celexa wasn't a good fit for me.
I just stick to antipsychotics.

So far I've been having a good experience with the Celexa.

I wish I could say otherwise but wellbutrin destroyed my sex drive.

I'm going to try and get Latuda. Even if that means sacrificing my Lunesta perscription.
For some reason I feel like the Latuda-Celexa mix will be very beneficial.
My sleeping schedule doesn't matter much because my classes start at 5pm.

I've heard it's a miracle drug from more than one person now.
