I was diagnosed with schizophrenia over a year ago. The paranoia is so bad that my meds fixed everything but that. How do you cope or deal with such severe paranoia? I have to have the doors locked because there are people out to get me. I can't touch the floor and I have to have my back against the wall or chair so no one can get behind me. I can't handle this anymore, please help with any suggestions.

I have gone through bad paranoia as well and what helped me is therapy and medication. I also worked on reading a lot of books on the subject and educating myself on my illness. Education is one of the biggest things that will help you to understand your illness. When you understand that it is you being sick and not the real world, then you can separate yourself from what is so scary. Good luck
Thanks for this!
