Hello Thehours: Yes, I experience some of this. But I'm old... so I chalk it up to old age... you know... "senior moments" & that sort of thing. It does take a while, following something like a breakdown for one's faculties to recover. And it sounds as though most of yours have. Perhaps your brain farts are just symptoms of the last thing to come back. And chances are whatever is causing them will come back. But, if not, or if you are worried about it... best to discuss this with your pdoc or family physician. One thing that is true, I believe is, the more one worries about something like this, the more difficult it can be to overcome it. So it's probably best not to let it go too long. Best wishes...

The same thing with me. My brain goes blank in like mid sentence some times and I'll have no clue what I was literally just saying. It's so annoying. It's gotten way worse now that my mood has gotten bad and everything else just getting worse because of that. Blah.
But you're not alone. It happens to me all the time. That happens to me all the time. *hugs* |

I generally blame the meds. I used to be very verbose and use words like "verbose" in everyday conversation.

Since we're on the topic of memory, does anyone have the problem with reading something and forgetting what you read immediately after? This is beyond annoying and really takes a lot of joy out of my days. |
