My psychiatrist said i might have it, and i was wondering if someone could give me a more detailed explanation of what it is and how its diagnosed?

Rx:
Seroquel XR 600mg Nightly
Seroquel 100mg As Needed Daily
Paxil 12.5 mg Every Morning

It's when you have traits of schizophrenia but also a mood disorder.

An example would be me, I was diagnosed as Bipolar Type 1, but I had psychotic symptoms that continually happened even outside of manic episodes so then it got changed to this,

There is Schizoaffective Bipolar Type and Schizoaffective Depressive Type

My doctor diagnosis me as "schizoaffective schizophrenia" which.... Is two different diagnosis.

But yes. Blue bird is correct. It's basically some or most symptoms of schizophrenia with bipolar or major depression.
