Anyone ever think that a particular album or song is talking directly to them? For me it is the album "clutching at straws" by the band marillion. To me it describes the my journey through manic and depressive cycles

i used to think a lot of things were about me/talking to me/giving me a message about the future or a clue to the past. this is called delusional. it's ok, it goes away. if you just relate to the message it's conveying, then that is not delusional. but if you believe it is about you, that is delusional.

I've been waiting for this topic to pop up.

@similesandcries, call me delusional then because bands like Rush, Pink Floyd and Radiohead (especially radiohead) give me that vibe, but I understand what you mean.

For me, it's a lot of music that did this, one such song that stood out was from the watchmen soundtrack and batman forever soundtrack. It is "The beginning is the end, the end is the beginning" by smashing pumkins.

just trying to be rational, don't want to feed anyone's delusions or psychosis. and i would expect everyone here not to feed into any of mine, as it only keeps me sick. i don't like the word delusional but sometimes i have to be brutally honest to myself, wasn't trying to offend anyone.
