Figured there should be a new thread since the last one was made in 2016. I see many more people around the forums with schizoaffective now so maybe this sub-forum will start getting more visitors which would be cool

I'm doing well, very stable. Physically sick though, some kind of flu or bad cold, not sure. Pretty much spent most of the day resting.

I'm stable, meds work. I have a part time job, live alone. All is well. For the most part.

Depressed but the demons are pretty stable at the moment. Have IOP tomorrow and then school after. I have a little time between to eat lunch.
Worried about IOP because I SHed last night and was up all night at the ER. Slept most of the day today. Just now getting up from my nap and it's a little after 8pm. __________________ Diagnoses: PTSD with Dissociative Symptoms, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain |

Thank you, @Blue_Bird! I have had a good experience so far here.
I have tried almost all of the med combinations possible, but I keep telling myself that something sometime will make them go away. Sorry to hear that you also struggle with insomnia. I just got my first night's sleep after three nights awake. Trying for two in a row tonight. __________________ Don't tell someone to get over it; help someone to get through it. |

I'm ready for it to be fall as well. It really won't get cold here for about two months.

Doing well today. Listening to a (free) audiobook (spending money unnecessarily is a big habit of mine I'm trying to cut down) on mindfulness by a fairly famous meditation teacher who has reached the mainstream. This whole mindfulness and meditation thing is helping quite a bit though. I also had class today and it went decently well.

I had a good day, roasted a pork loin for dinner and it came out really well, it was my first time cooking one. Finished up some artwork I was doing. Have been reading a lot. Feeling a little frustrated because it seems like I get worn out so fast even just from walking, I don't know if it has to do with my new meds or what but I'm trying to lose weight

Hi, all. I'm Anna. I am on here, trying to make a friend or two. Would like to, at some point, meet for coffee. Wanting a normal, in-person friend.
I have schizotypal tendencies, Bipolar, and ADD. (I feel like I'm watching a comedy, lolol.) I do not hear voices, but I have hallucinated. |

Hi, akarro. I thought you'd like to know that we have "The Coffeehouse" in the General Social Chat forum.

Delusions are now nil. Have been for a week or two. The Latuda is really working. No mania and knock on wood no depression outside of the normal human range due to environmental factors and stresses. I don't know what else to say but I feel kinda normal and like I'm an integrated persona. I felt fragmented for most of my life. It's not something I'm used to, this sanity. But it feels pretty darn good.

Hi. Shall try to keep it plain. I haven't been on here in a few years. I think I may have abandoned some of you. I'm not sure who remembers what anymore.
I'm having an episode. I can't call my hospital's crisis line b/c it's completely useless. I am nonviolent. So, kind of what I'm seeing: "Faces" everywhere, people (mom and bro) spying on me in their sleep and at work, respectively. They're loud and noisy. We're American citizens so they're bad spies. I don't pretend to be a good one because I don't spy on anyone. I wonder if I am autistic episodically? Everything is overwhelming and there's too much detail in everything. This morning was good, now it's ****. What of what I'm not seeing? I don't know. I don't know how to get help, ever. No intent of harming anyone, fwiw. Euch. <-- this one's illegal in my life. family laws. |

My sleep seems to be back to normal thankfully. I've been doing a lot of art stuff, coloring books and drawing. I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series yet again lol perfect for the autumn. I want to get ingredients to make some butterbeer, there's several recipes I've found online for hot versions and cold versions.
My case manager is signing me up with a vocational rehabilitation program to help get myself a part time job since I really want one and feel ready for it. __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

I just got out of the hospital again and found out I lost 6 lbs and my hemoglobin a1c went down .4 points. Go me! I just wish a mixed episode hadn't CAUSED the weight loss and activity and good diet had.

Hi, I am new here. I struggle with voices. My psychiatrist and I have tried everything to get rid of them. Some days are better than others. My biggest struggle now, though, is with insomnia.
Otherwise, I am doing pretty well. I have been writing a new story and trying to work out more. I had a good therapy session today and finished some errands I had been putting off. Like others, I am eager for fall to arrive. It is scorchingly hot here. I am a cool-weather person. |
