so last night i went to bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow it started. My hands were forced behind my back, my clothes were ripped off, I could smell the dog, hear it panting at my head growling. I could feel the guy beating me with a whip and raping me over and over. My heart rate was soaring, i was crying nose running. hours after it stopped and i got the courage to get up and turn on the lights i realized it never really happened. my clothes were intact, everybody in the house was asleep and the doors were locked. If this isn't a hallucination what they heck is it? It's becoming more common for me and i don't like it one bit. What do I tell my psych?

hi sweetie,
i'm just wondering if you've had any traumas (related or not) in the past? because these types of experiences are very common also for people who have PTSD. i wonder if you can tell your psych in just the same way you've told us here. she/he will be able to help you through it ![]() |

Yeah, I have had trauma's in the past. I was raped in college eleven years ago and have had serious physical/sexual abuse growing up. but I've worked on that in therapy extensively. I don't feel like it bothers me anymore. I guess it obviously does eh?
