My son died early this morning (Sept. 28)..he was 26. Am having a very difficult time holding it all together...or even caring if I do. Just wanted to tell someone. -iluzhyn

I'm very sorry to hear that, iluzyhn.  Am having a very difficult time holding it all together...or even caring if I do. That makes sense to me. I don't imagine I'd be any different. My condolences to you and yours, iluzhyn.

iluzhyn, there is a Grief and Loss discussion area at this site too. I realize you might not be ready to go there right now but maybe it will be of help to you at a later time. I'm so sorry to know of your sadness. This is a good time to take the best care of you that you're able. I hope you have people in your life who can hold you and provide you a shoulder to lean on for as long as you need it.

I am so sorry for your loss. A loss of a child is the hardest thing anyone will ever go through, even harder then that of giving birth. Take care and get away if you can, after you lay him to rest take a vacation, if you cant just maybe go for a long drive and try to go somewhere serene. Take care of your self.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. My son was laid to rest on Thursday (Oct 1). I really appreciate the support that those on these forums have shown...it was truly needed and helped me to not feel so alone during this time. -iluzhyn
