I was discharged from the behavioral health this week, at my appointment, I explained what was going on and what I thought, The new doctor checked thru my records for a long time and agreed. I was being treated for the past twenty years for mental health problems. But it was an allergy to the prednosone I was given for all the accidents I had that caused the problems. I got hurt, was given it for swelling, and pain management, and I went crazy, simple as that. I cannot tolerate prednosone or any injected steriod. I have had it alot and it was just a repeating cycle that no one noticed. That is until he looked at it from a different viewpoint.
I had lost my job and couldn't afford my drugs four months ago. It had worked for me because it didn't do anything (no side effects)to me anyway. All the other drug treatments during this time were trying to find something that would help. But the problem disappeared and left only the side effects to deal with. And then would return. (when I got hurt) My nightmare is over. Good luck guys. the Doctors are usually right. But do not take a clinic's opinion as the final opinion, they kept sending me to the behavioural health place at the local hospital after I went crazy, during treatment for accidents. |
