Has anyone ever involved a significant other in a delusion?

Here's what I mean. . . my husband believes that during the night his job is to be a spiritual guide for people who have died. To do that, his spirit (in a form that would be scary for any mortal to see) travels through time and space to lead souls to their final destination.

Lately he has asked if I had any weird dreams. Whatever my answer, he claims that he took my spirit with him in the night to do his job.

Any time I ask for more information, he says that his "bosses" won't let him give me any. I've asked why I can go along with him but not get information, but he gives the "my bosses won't let me" line if he gives me an answer at all.

Just curious if anyone has any similar experiences.

Oh...my stomach just dropped three floors reading this. Creepy.

I have this whole shaman thing going on. Not the tainted newage crap but the shaman of old dreamtime stuff. Wicked scary familiar.

Anyway, I did pull a few people into my "delusions" if that is what we are calling them this century. It is not unusual.

I don't have much to offer except to say I wish you and your husband the very best and much peace.
