Hi, I have a few questions regarding disability funds from the gov.
If the doctor believes you need disability because work isn't a option, will the gov. then grant it or is it really hard and well really hard. I'm in a state where I can JUST try to help myself but any stuggle and I'm out. I've fought this for 20 years, I'm tired, depresses and getting worse with reality every day. I think talking to a bunch of people would be to hard. Is anyone here on disabiliy? If so, was your struggle to hard or just made by the doc.?

My cousin has been trying to get disability for 4 years but a friend of mine got it in just a year. You have to apply and apply and apply and you get denied a lot, even if the doctor says you need it.
I'm going to try to get on disability this year sometime. I was told I needed it by a doctor but I have to do all the paper work and then a bunch of other crap before they can either accept or deny it. I don't know details since I myself have not yet gone through it, and I don't know how different it is in Canada.

Ya, I don't know about canada but I did hear that The U.S. is even harder still. I hope it works out for you without to much trouble. How do they think someone not able to work could go thro all that paper work and whatever else, should just be a doc's choice. I mean we do alot of work in the doc's office already, really hard to deal with but it can't just be that. Venting
