I've been diagnoses with that before.

Major Depressive Disorder, Severe, with psychotic features. It really depends on the doctor. Usually they'll treat that with antidepressents and antipsychotics.

That was my diagnosis in the fall (major depression with psychosis)..I was in the hospital for a little over a week. This.forum includes psychosis so i believe you are in the right place. *hugs*

I have depression with psychotic features too and I post here and in the depression forum. If my Q is more to deal with the psychotic side of things, I post in here, but if it's more the depression symptoms, I post in the depression forum. It's up to you. Everyone is really friendly on PC, but especially here. I don't know why but I always feel safest posting in this forum.

Anyway, fire away when you have a question

This seems to be the correct place. Most people with depression don't have psychosis, but everyone with psychosis does!
