Hey everyone.

I get voices. I think they could be ME making them, but the doctor doesn't think so. They tell me things to do. When i don't do what the voices want, life gets bad. Sometimes I think the voices are Gods way of speaking to me. But they tell me to do some crazy things, so that couldn't be true.

How have you guys experienced voices?

I have. But I'm officially bipolar 1. Right now I'm not on any anti psychotics as I seem to have serious enough reactions to warrant stopping the drug. No fun.

I have experienced voices plenty of times. My voices are very commanding and degrading towards me. They put me down and command me to do things. If I don't do what they tell me to do then they just don't stop till they have "won". I have many different voices not just one and they are very distinct. I have a little girl who pretty much just talks to me and is very innocent. I have a group of “gossip girls”. They really tear me down. They are the ones that degrade me and tell me to do bad things because I am not worth it. I have an older man in my head. I don’t really hear him that often so I don’t remember much about him. Then I have a “professor” in my head that always yells and screams at me which I have had since I can remember. As you can see I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

I used to sit and argue with them for hours. I don't have them much anymore. I think they were demons or something. The main one was a girl and by her voice she seemed demonic, it would get really sweet and if I said something smart or talked back her voice would just deteriorate to this scratchy distorted mess. She would tell me things to get me paranoid or enraged and always things to tear me down. She seemed so desperate to have me end myself, she would badger me and badger me.
I actually miss her which is sick. I guess I'm a masochist.

The voices do the same thing to me, they keep pressuring me to do something until I do it. But I don't do the bad things they tell me to do.

When I hear voices it sounds like people are in the room with me but they don't say more than "hey!" and "heloooo!". They never hold conversations. If I say something back they don't reply. But they'll pop up again. Hasn't happened in a year though.

Yes, the voice in my head doesn't normaly talk to me though. She usually just rambles to herself (Sometimes she screams which really horrifies me). But when she does I have to listen or bad things will happen.

So are the voices inside your head or is it like there's someone in the room with you?
