My son and I just finished the second module - on jumping to conclusions. My son has a serious problem with this and always has. From the time he was a small child, he has assumed he understood an entire situation based on one or a few tiny facts. Once he's made up his mind, he's very difficult to dissuade. It's like he doesn't listen or take in facts that contradict what he's already decided.
I'm not sure how useful this module will be in changing that tendency. Maybe just being aware that it's a problem is a good start. |
