I was hoping to talk to someone who experienced or has information on "brief psychotic episode" a.k.a. "reactive psychosis" or "hysterical psychosis".

I looked up for info on the web, but found no personal experiences.

I don't know what mine was 'classified' as =/ I've had periods of psychosis aka psychotic episodes.

I don't know if that helps? =/

I had a brief psychotic episode about 15 years ago, the actual experience was a week long, no reoccurrences. My diagnosis did not use the other terms of reactive or hysterical.

I was fortunate, I had professional care but did not have to be hospitalized. I still have some notes of what I went through. Questions are fine.
