I took the Schizophrenia quiz and got a score of 26. I have some questions. I'm not asking for a diagnosis, I have an assessment with the Psychosis Service on Monday.

- Is it possible to still have schizophrenia and realise the things I see / hear are not real when I'm 'calm' but when I'm having an 'episode' fully believe them? E.g I am calm now and can hear voices talking quietly, I know other people can't hear them. But when they scream at me I have to do everything they say and believe they are real.

- I go through phases of being calm and 'episodic'. When I'm calm I can think more normally, make sense of my thoughts and act a bit more sensible. When I am having an 'episode' I shout at the voices, I talk to my hallucinations and I pace up and down hiding from CCTV because I know they are watching me. For example I will take medication at the moment because I am calm, but when I am having an 'episode' I don't eat anything becasue I think its poison.

Symptoms I get:

- I hear 3 voices (2 male, 1 female. The 2 male are critical and the female is nice. This causes me a problem with talking to male people)
- The female voice takes on a physical form. I can see, hear and touch her. I can talk to her and she can give me cuddles. I once had sex with her.
- I beleive the government is watching me through CCTV and has my internet bugged
- I believe the government is trying to kill me by poisoning my food / drink / medication.

Thanks for you time x

I see the Early Intervention team as well.

I don't have schizophrenia, so I don't know a lot about it, but to me - it does definitely sound like you have it.

Thanks for the reply. I was in a psychiatric and they origionally thought it was psychosis, and then my CPN said it could be anxiety instead.
