I believe my wife has paranoid schizphrenia. I have been doing some reading on the MI and it sounds to close to home. Her mom never took care of her when she was in the womb and her dad has been diagnosied with schizophrenia. She has been showing a lot of signs in the past month and its only getting worse.

Today was really bad when she mentioned she thought the lanlord and I were planning on killing her. My heart is hurting right now because I don't know what to do for her.

I just had the cops come by and ask me about her. The said she went to the hospital to get checked out on something. So they came by asking me if she had any past mental issues. I am afaid for her, our boys, and me. Help please.

I'm not sure there's anything anyone here can do for you at this point. Why did the cops come by and ask about her past mental issues?

Because of her acting crazy at the hospital.

Did she commit a crime?

I still don't understand why the police are involved to the extent of coming to your house to ask about your wife's mental health history. Are they investigating something she did? Or has she alleged that you've poisoned her, and they came to check the story?

perhaps they just came by to check her story. For I have no idea why they would stop by. I am very confused and scared right now.

Jay, this bouncing back and forth between the two threads is making me a bit dizzy. Can we pick one and stay there? I left some suggestions of things you can do right now on the other thread.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
