I am doing a school research paper on "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." The main character of the novel is known to be schizophrenic and he often times sees fog (although its not really there). I am wondering if this is really a symptom of schizophrenia and if it is, which type and where could I find more information on it?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks

Don't think so unless its a hallucination. you can check the DSM IV TR (diagnostic Statistical Manual 4th edition Text Revised and that will tell you the diagnostic symptoms and criteria for having Schizophrenia.
