Thanks for asking. Trying not to stress over a thermostat that needs to be changed again in my car. I had the part changed as preventative maintenance but found that since it's not a Toyota part, my Toyota car is not liking the after-market thermostat so it now needs to be changed again to a Toyota thermostat. Dropped my car off last night and won't have a ride to pick it up until later today at 4:30pm. Any kind of stress just messes with my sleep. I've been up since 3am.

But other than that, I'm my usual paranoid self.

I hope you're doing well especially until you can move into a place more permanently.

Yep, I've been here nearly 3 wks now. Pretty stressed with it all to be honest, but I'm going in to Uni and socialising, so powering through. My puppy managed the move remarkably well. I had visions of him barking all day while I'm at Uni and the neighbours complaining and noise abatement orders; the whole shebang! Instead he whines for a few mins and then gets on with whatever he does all day (probably sleeping!), which is a relief and one less thing to worry about.

How are you managing in the hostel? Fingers crossed for your visa!

Thanks for this!

How's the course itself? Good on you for socialising and everything! I never knew you had a puppy, what sort is he/she?

The hostel is really doing me in. I hate it here. I ended up having a semi-hissy fit at the manager today and completely embarrassing myself, and then I was too embarrassed to come back until quarter to midnight so I've just been kind of wandering around. (To be fair, he was being a dickhead to me too, but of course he's a boy and a manager so he doesn't appear that way. I hate it when people spout patently incorrect legalese at me to get me to stop making legitimate complaints and then I'm forced to tell them I'm a barrister and they're full of BS.)

]Ah no, stuff like that would do me in too. I hope it gets fixed and you survive the day.

Three-day weekends do sound lovely!! How's the small business plan going? WHat kind of cross-stitch scenes do you make?

I'm glad he's doing so well What kind of friends has he got—the drinking kind or what? What job is he doing? It's great to come back to such good news!

Right now I'm working with an old out of copyright book. If I can get it off the ground, I think I'm going to have to contract out the design work. I'm not an artist.

I'm not so sure about this friend. He's hooking him back into some old patterns and ideas that aren't going to work for him IMO. My son seems to have his feet somewhat on the ground though. He's trying to work through it and come to decisions that are right for him.

Um...well I don't exactly hate it, but then I don't exactly love it either. To be honest it's pretty meh, but then everything is meh right now so I'm hoping that is the reason and it's not that I've made a mistake taking psychology. Time will tell...

His name is Max and he's a shih tzu crossed with a bishon frise (called a 'zu-shon' or the teddy bear breed). He's just over a year old and he's full of beans. He's actually very good at getting me up and out of the house. Even when I really don't want to, his hazel eyes guilt me into taking him for a walk! lol

Yeah, I would hate to be in a hostel. I can't stand living out of a suitcase, so I really feel for you. Sorry that this guy is a douche Hopefully they'll sort your visa out soon and you can get your own place.
