What kind of support do you have IRL? Are you still working? I seem to recall you had a lot respect for your boss. And you had a therapist, didn't you? How's your son doing?

I know everyone here at PC will support you the best we can, but I just hope you have some good people IRL too.

my step son is well. i'm going to be attending partial hospital soon. i see a psychologist and attend support groups. i know people at church and sing and perform my nylon string classical guitar at their services. i crid this morning and self soothe with music

Im so sorry for your loss and what you survived!!! The pain changes on somedays after a loved one dies, I'm still gripped on several deaths in our family, somtimes wonder how I'll be able to cope throughout the day. My husband jokes around and says at least it wasn't me. I don't know how other people here would react to that but I fear death all day long, sometimes i wish I were dead, but talk myself out of such thoughts, i'm not suicidal but feel like I am. how do you know if your suicidal? i've actually tried it when I was a teenage i took pills but woke up the next morning and my mother called the doctor, but no one was there to help me, I think(excuse me) it was getting my menstrual cycle I had alot of issues with that my whole life, I couldn't effiencently do anything with out having to worry about how it made me feel. Maybe your depression has alot to do with unsolved issues with your mother's death of which you were too young to understand at the time? Can you talk to your dad, maybe it's too painful for him to talk about it?Well i hope this helps and feel for you greatly

i hope you are feeling lots better as time passes.... loss is one of the hardest things to go through in this life, and some times it feels wroten that the world does not stop to feel your pain with you, but insetead just keeps on going on as if nothing out of the ordinary has happened....Some days you just want to scream at the top of your lungs "STOP THIS TRAIN I WANT OFF" and even if you did, would it make a difference to anyone who heard you?

I know what it is like to go through the battle field of loss and it is so painful that i some days wounder if i will ever feel like it will pass. Not only does it break your heart, it can litterally feel like it has broken your spirit and soul.

I'm feeling better, bt last night was hellish, till I slept. I took 4 mg of navane.

I'm so sorry you are going threw this. I'm sure hellish is an understatement. Know we are all thinking about you here at PC.

I have to say that sleep is a great healer. It's very important for mental wellness.

being musical to me, means being unashamed to perform your hearts song in public. either with a musical instrument, or ones self and actions. stand up and be heard.. that is being musical to me
