Oh wow, that's pretty intensive.

Hopefully the hospital you're in will be a good one and you'll have a neutral experience at the very least, but maybe a good experiernce, but hopefully not a bad one.

Last time it sucked - 1 toilet for everyone - I can't share that kind of thing - they gave me cardboard trays.
I think there is just 1 hospital that has en suite and not the one I'd be going to - as this 1

Greentrees is a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) based a St Nicholas Hospital. It is a 14 bedded ward for both male and females.

A Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a type of psychiatric inpatient ward. These wards are always locked, the entry and exit is controlled by the nursing staff.

The service is for men and women over the age of 18 years detained under The Mental Health Act (1983) who are experiencing a relapse or crisis and require a period of intensive secure care until they can return to an open inpatient unit.

i swear honestly they make mental health sound like prison in england. "DETAINED" "until they can return to open unit"

seriously.

also the mental health buildings in england and many buildings are so old cause well...i mean. but idk ive always been fascinated by that. cause the usa is old but its not OLD compared to other countries. so they still use their older buildings. you know what i mean?

They have a lot of old style type buildings.

I think prison is probably better than the hospital.

i dont think it is but to be honest theres more freedom in prison than what people THINK. people in prison dont just sit in a jail cell 24/7 they go outside and to the gym. they have tvs. they even have at some places where if you act really good or have minimal charges you stay in just a big open room. no jail cell or bars. plus more. some places even have internet.

i always compared to how they run the prison system to mental hospitals. i honestly believe the only real difference is a little more compassion. cause if you are severe enough they WILL tie you down or lock you in a room for hours. been there done that more than a dozen times.

I think it depends on the prison and what you're in for, but prison can be brutal. I think either way it can be depending on where you are the population. Some prisons are full of violent people who dont' becaome less violent just because they are locked up. It depends though.

I know here is one of the most high level prisons and it is full of extremely violent people. They make the most violent of them wear pink (which is funny, but there's some reason for it psychologically.) And yes, it is a men's prison. There used to be a good show on t.v. about prisons and jails and halfway houses. I have also known several people to go through prisons and jail in my life.

I know that I would never want to go, but I'm not very tough in respects of dealing with other people who are tough.

I've visited my sons both in jail and in the hospital (not prison, though). And I used to volunteer at the jail. Jail's worse.

I just hate being watched and people trying to start things with me.
It sounds like it really sucks there.

If I'm there, I'm looking for the fire alarm, straight away.

I've added 1 of them on Facebook - such an idiot.
Even stalking my Facebook friends.

Maybe this was a bad year and you went 3 times, but then you won't go for 2 years (because you already used your one time for those 2 years.)
