FOR FUN - what does your room say about you?

Mine is a new part of the house, away from the main bit, but still connected, but its like in the loft area. Its huge. All white. Its messy but clean. Like no dirt, but just my stuff everywhere. It doesn't smell of anything horrible. Only I am allowed in, or my mum because she cleans it everyday.

I will be honest and say if it wasn't for her, it would be dirty and probably smell. You probably all hate me now

Oh I have a swipe card lock on it now, so no one can get in, plus an alarm and CCTV. It has one window, well 3, but i blocked the other two up. This one window looks opposite way from airport path and is not overlooked. So no one can see me.

my room used to be very dirty and a little smelly.
but one day i personal revelation. i cleaned it.
it took a few months. and then another year to get it how i wanted it. to buy my own decor etc.
my parents are hoarders and i was taught unconciously to be one.
im so happy i broke out of it.

although theres still elements of it in my room now.
lots of stuff but extremely organized now. i actually feel depressed if its not organized or if most of the filth is not cleand.

NOW my room is highly decorated.
some things are filthy lookin but if it is its only done for decors sake.
like for example - my desk has coffee stains. i dont clean them up because for decors sake - it looks like ive been working hard. AND I HAVE BEEN. but see i put down wooden boards so i can actually switch out parts of the desk if i dont want it like that anymore.

i wish i could show a pic of part of my room.........

Sort of, but its needed. My diaries are here and I know someone is after them. Even my mum cleans the room daily, I have to make sure she doesnt leave with anything. Iknow that sounds bad, I should trust her, I do, but other people might corrupt her and turn her against me. Better safe than dead.

Okay, this is my room: about 12/16, beige carpet with stains all over it but vaccumed, our bed is about 1/3 of the room, the bed is on the floor (no bed stand), I make the bed about once a week, the rest of the time our blankets are all crazy lol, I have pictures and decorations on the wall and I have a "coffee center" lol which fills our room with the smell of coffee which I like because it usually smells like a sewer because there are broken pipes in the back which gives a nice bathroom smell most of the time lol. Great thread!

P.S. I don't know exactly what my room says about me, but the Kitchen told me that it was talking crap about me when I went to the store the other day lol

Mine is yellow with a laminated floor.
It's really clean and I always keep the curtains closed.
It's opposite to the other room, the curtains are open in there, I need to see.
Both have lots of posters.

So this morning I can hear like a chainsaw. Its one of my sounds I get when anxious. But hang on, this i can pin point where its from! I looked out my window and there is a private tennis court in the back, well not IN the back of our property, but some way back and its not been used for years, all overgrown. I like it like that, lots of wildlife, foxes, rabbits and birds. Well now they are chopping down trees and cleaning it up! The trees were there to give my room a screen from the world, not if they remove them, then what!

We used to play in the tennis courts when we were kids, messing up (not on purpose!) their perfectly level gravel. They used to like level it all out and brush it up after using it, we used to go play tennis and huge radio control cars! Naughty I know, but kids will be kids

This is ruining my view! Or lack of it!

My room is very cluttered. No where to put stuff. We have 1 closet in the whole house, in my room. I have shelves full of books and stuff. The desk in my room has a fish tank, books I use daily, and my meds. 2 dressers are always covered with clothes, jewlwery, makeup, and hair stuff.

I de-clutter every couple of months, but it comes back. We've out grown our house about 10 years ago. LOL.
