Okay so part of my job is to schedule appointments for people.
I do this all day every day and I have to say the same things over and over again. One thing that I can't seem to handle for some reason is it throws me into a rage when people ask me to give them the directions or location to our clinic. I don't understand this and I don't like it. I don't know why it makes me so mad. One day I actually twisted a paperclip until I broke it in half because I was so mad about having to give someone directions. It doesn't make any sense. I don't know why I have such anger about giving directions.... I get this feeling like people are just doing this to make me angry. I get really mad at them and it takes all my strength to not fly off the handle at them about it. I know it's 100% irrational but it doesn't stop.  I also get very intrusive thoughts that are very violent about the people who ask me directions. I don't know why. I hate it so much and I wish I knew what to do.

wish i had an answer for you. i'm sorry you're having trouble with this rage thing with giving out directions. i can feel your pain, though, as far as the intrusive violent thoughts. this happens to me even with people i'm not irritated with. some are random strangers i've never seen before. it scares the hell out of me.

Thanks guys. I've had trouble with this for years now, and it's getting worse. Almost all of these people are total strangers to me.
I don't know if it's some type of psychosis thing. It's just so irrational. I don't know. I should get a stress ball though maybe. So I can squeez something and not hurt myself. >.>
