I'm really having a lot of trouble trying to understand my bf. I was under the impression that all it was was Depression + psychotic features. I figured I've been psychotic before...no biggie. After reading a detailed description of it, I realize that it's much worse than that.

I think the hardest part about the illness (at least for me) is the thinking. The lack of thinking, the lack of interests, and his inability to make sense of simple sentences. It makes communication almost impossible for me.

Some help on trying to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

I know what it's like to have trouble talking about your thoughts and having a lack of interests. But i have always been able to understand people quite well. Good on you for sticking by him in this hard time!
