I am so confused and have a hard time thinking stright and keep seeing and hearing things! The voices tell me to keep things and stuff because they have special messeges or answers! I am going to the Psychologist today, what should I tell her? Also any advice? Thanks so much! Also I took Risperdal and Seroquel should I try medicine again or any special ones? Anything would be of help! You can Email me november2005@hellokitty.com or I am at Yahoo Answers. Any advice? Any advice? Any advice?

Hi There, I would be completley honest with your psychologist, because I hid most of my symptoms for 5 years before I told the complete truth. Also your treatment will be much better if you are honest. Good luck, I would like to know how you get on.

Well uh... It did not go as expected I guess. I get to go back next week to talk all alone but yesterday I was sort of confused I guess and it did not go all that great. Anyway when I go back next week to talk alone I am going to tell, what I am experiencing etc. and ask all about medications, treatments, why, how , when, and all that. Even bring reports from past Doctors that might help her. What do you think about medication any personal input or opinions of medicine? I wanna get better so I can do big things!
Oh and do you think i should ask her about my Diagnosis? She keeps changing it and saying it is VERY severe and serious. Thanks!

Hiya.. I hope you are feeling fine, It sounds like that you have alot of questions that you want to ask your psychologist, I suggest that you write a list of questions that you can take there.
This is because when I went to see my therapist I forgot half of what I wanted to say and I was annoyed when I went home. Also you could write a list of your symptoms and feelings, I did this and it helped me.

My opinions on medications, they helped me very much but at times I got some bad side effects, but its about finding ones that suit you. I'm currently taking abilify and celexa

Yes I think that you should ask her about your diagnosis, however some psychologists are reluctant to say for some reason, well they were in my case.
Because it took them 2 years to tell me my diagnosis, and ive recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Good luck with your next visit, and if you want to ask me anything or talk feel free to ask.

Ice Man I want to thank you so much and for all the help you have gave me but, you only have 2 posts both for me!, so I wondered just curious, Why? are you trying to keep a low profile or only interested in Psychosis/Schizophrenia? Just curious thanks so much so far!
I will use all of that info and advice!, how are you doing now, are your meds working and what type are you? I will ask her about my diagnosis not sure how but I will, once I tell her a lot of this I am pretty sure she will want me to see the psychiatrist again for medication. Maybe I might try to read some of the stuff in my folder while she is busy! Any advice? Thanks so much! I hope you are feeling fine and doing well Good luck!, Sarah

Hiya, I'm fine thanks, and I only Have 2 posts because I only joined here a little while ago. I'm also quite busy.
The celexa I take for depression works well for me, as I haven't been depressed in over a year, and I've only been taking the abilify for 2weeks now so I'm not sure how that will work, but I've hardly had any side effects from it which is good.
I'm the paranoid type. Hope you get on well when you see your psychologist, Good luck.
