You have to look at the video of the mask----do you see it turn inside out or not. Supposed to be a marker of schizophrenia. Don't know---I saw the same illusion that 99% of everybody sees but then I'm in remission.

My son has watched this. He didn't see the optical illusion. I don't know if he would see it now that he's doing better.

i saw the illusion - only when it got right in the middle of the face.

i guess i pretty much saw it.

why do i see it?

Yeah I saw the face too, but then I'm not diagnosed sz but sza.

When they say it's a sz thing, do they really mean just sz or do they mean psychosis? Like if you're in a psychotic episode you can't see it? Or if you're sz, you can't see it when well or psychotic? Stuff like that always makes me doubt myself - like because I can see it does that mean I'm not sza?? That's why the gene work scares me too - what if I didn't have any of the MI genes, does that mean I'm lying?! IDK. It's their certainty that concerns me, nothing is ever 100% in life...

I don't know what the percents are for real, in this study it was a hundred percent but then maybe that's because they tested less than twenty people.

the FRONT looks hollow to me.
the BACK looks hollow too UNTIL it gets to the very middle for a split second i see the illusion. then as it keeps turning it goes back to hollow after the split second.

i dont get this BS!!!

I wouldn't worry about it too much...if it was truly diagnostic all the pdocs would have creepy masks hanging in their offices.

I don't know about this one. When I watch it the first time, it is hollow. Then, I watch it again and it's not hollow. Then, I watch it again and it's hollow then suddenly pops out to be not hollow. If I pause it, it's hollow, then it stops being hallow once I push pause.... it changes back and forth for me. So, what does that mean? LOL

Maybe you're ultra rapid cycling?.. I think this is like the mood ring for psychosis it doesn't really mean anything. I was just curious about it when I saw it...

lol, watched it again and I don't see the illusion anymore,.. apparently I was only temporarily sane earlier, my apologies. Back to your regular sz programming.
