Has anyone tried this method? Did it work for you?

I'm looking into it. The problem is I can't find a psychotherapist that's in office. Have been searching/calling since Friday and it's Tuesday. No call backs.

I was originally dx'd with major depression then escalated to bipolar and now schizophrenia. Took the sanity score quiz and tested several times for PTSD. Was wondering if anyone is going thru or has went through the same as me?

I've gained over 200lbs since on meds. Every time I switch meds it seems to work for the first year or two and then am hospitalized AGAIN.

Please if anyone can give me some insight to this I'd be very grateful.

I am very interested myself in holistic approaches. I would suggest to that you see a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. There are books available. One book specifically deals with schizophrenia and natural healing. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of it at the moment.
I'm glad you are trying to reach a psychotherapist and I know how frustrating it is when you don't get a call back right away. Hopefully you'll get an appointment soon.

I don't know about sz or psychosis, but I've heard of people trying accupuncture before. I don't know if it works, though, as the only person I know who was going to try it hasn't posted for a while now.

St. John's wort is one of those for depression... I am unsure if it treats schizophrenia or bipolar but it might... It treats a whole list of things. I tried it once and it seemed to work for me. I did not stick with it long however, as I don't stick with my meds long.
