The link is to the real guy but I just saw this movie about a mentally ill homeless guy living on the streets of LA who was befriended by an LA times reporter due to his musical skill. First I think anything movie set to classical music tends to be beautiful. Second there tossed into the drama are questions about forced treatment etc. It's worth watching. Just thought I'd share if you haven't seen it.

it was great. better than a beautiful mind to me. ive seen tons of schiz movies and documentaries. and its so ...hm..funny ya think how much of the schiz population is reportedly african american YET most movies and documentaries are on caucasians. the african american population is SEVERELY underrepresented for what the supposed numbers say.

The soloist was wonderfuly. I enjoyed it a lot.
I didn't like A Beautiful Mind at all. I didn't feel it portrayed anything or explained anything. My mother-in-law always talks about that movie, but I just felt it was watered down.
