Have any of u experienced this? I think it may be more due to long term marijuana use in my boyfriend. But does it also happen if u don't use pot?

A psychiatric neurologist might be the best to answer this question, but consultation fee may be >$4000.
I suffer from depression and when the depression was very severe this short term memory(STM)loss would intensify. Second harm smoke could be the major cause or one of the causes for what you describe as well.

I have memory problems but it isn't short term memory that is my problem but working memory. So my brain doesn't actually form the memories to hold onto them, which is why I forget things so easily and so fast. It's a common concern among people.
I do best when I do things one at a time and not have a lot going around me. I always lose my keys when I come home from the store because I have to carry in bags, put them down, and put groceries away. Even with a "place" to put my keys I still lose them, as an example.

When I was actively psychotic I had to everything and I mean everything into evernote or make lists because I would forget it immediately and I've never smoked pot.
