Hi everyone. Sorry I have not been around. I put the trigger marker because I have to say my dad passed away on Sunday Oct 27 suddenly. I have been arranging his funeral and things.
Anyway, I just wanted you all to know and I'll be back around again later.

Sorry about your dad's passing. I know how tough that is, having lost my mom and dad within a year of each other. Things will get better in time, and your grief will dissipate.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Mine died 4 years ago. I still miss him, but the pain gets easier. Know it is hard to get through all the formalities. Take care.

Thanks everyone. I'm doing okay but very busy arranging everything and now I have to be back at work too. The funeral is Friday and it's just been crazy because my step-mom was in the hospital when it happened so everything has been a roller coaster.
But I also feel like numb like my body has grief anti-bodies or something because I'm sad but not like... I don't know... I was really sad the first two days then it's just this kind of numbness and I just keep going forward. I just feel like not a lot to say. Thank you all for your thoughts and words, I really appreciate it.

Faerie, I'm sorry to hear that your dad passed. Hope you get rest along the way. Sorry to hear of all the stress it brings. I have been there and totally understand how hard it is. Things will get easier with time, but let it happen at its own pace. Grieve as long as you need. Take care.

Hope you start the grieving process, I lost my mom unexpectedly in 2005. Took me years to start grieving. My condolences to you and your family.
