I had the usual hallucinations last week with the shadow people, shadow man, hearing whispers, etc... But then they stopped. But since then I still feel like they are real, and there, just cannot see or hear them anymore. Would this be a delusion? Clay says they are not real so if I am believing they are, is it a possibility i am still delusional? Can you be delusional while knowing you are? I mean Clay tells me I am... but I don't know what to believe.

Usually delusional people lack insight and it is very difficult to convince them that their beliefs are not plausible. You are probably having what is called an "overvalued idea". These are similar to delusions, but a person doesn't firmly hold on to the idea and is able to question it.

last week i think i was totally delusional i think but since Clay says its not real I am questioning and thinking yes I have been delusional. So maybe it has turned into the overvalued idea.
