I don't know if anyone has asked this yet but I am curious to know, what do you think your auditory hallucinations are? If you have any. It's a pretty complex situation and experience, I don't think people get how crazy it actually is. I think mine are aliens. Ya and though the world tells me no, how can you say no? If we have not the exact evidence of what they are, then no one can tell us what is it and what it isn't. Agree? Maybe it's just me. They told me where they were from and why they came to me. Though they didn't mention their soul purpose. Yet enough of me, I just want people's ideas and thoughts, I hope this post does get some comments because I really would like an insight to others perspective on this. So please leave a comment!

I think mine are different personalities of me. I understand it's me. However I look to them for guidance and meaning some times.

I believe the voices I hear are aliens too. Other beings that are on a higher level of consciousness than us.

i think they are spy agents or god and angels/demons. sometimes i think im hearing random conversations of people from neighboring houses.

In the beginning I thought that it were people talking and me thinking that people said something while in reality they were not. Later I thought that I could induce the thoughts of others. Later I thought that people could also ventriloquize.
With time I took it for thoughts of others in such a way that it looked very much like telepathy.
Because I thought this unlikely I tried to convince myself that the only reasonable possibility, except for assuming it were my own thoughts, was that some electronic equipment was producing the voices: sound or some other stimulation of my hearing organs.
Later I returned again to the opinion that voices were the product of my brain: some kind of representation of the thoughts and speech of others; mainly because of some overvigilant searching for what others are saying and thinking, raising false alarm after little or nothing.

I think mine are dead souls, aliens, alternates of me, or the sadistic-*** director of this cosmic production. I don't know the answer.

When I ask I just get a laugh and obfuscation. They tell me they are neither my friend nor my enemy, yet they torture me with verbal abuse and outrageous lies. If that isn't an enemy I don't know what is.

What kind of entity tells you, one minute, you are a national security asset with a dedicated satellite, and the next that you are no one, nothing, a useless human being?

I wish the director would get the script right because I'm sick of the confusion.

Mostly for me if I hear something external I don't think it's a something more as it's just suddenly there. Then I usually am able to quickly decide if it was just something only I experienced or not. I don't think they are anything so much as cracks in my own mind suddenly coming forward, but I barely ever hear things and when I do it's mostly just noise and sudden and then gone.

Voices are so negative and weird

For anyone it can mean anything. I think its more likely to mean something with schizotypal because of the magical thinking.

It's like they have their own mind. Their words are not mine. They think their own thoughts. I do believe telepathy is real. They test us and I think the only way we can win is to prove we are stronger than them. They don't want to reveal themselves idk why. If we knew of their world, would they crumble? So many questions.

I separate my voices into two separate categories. What I call Pseudo hallucinations, where the voices are just a misinterpretation of unrelated external stimuli, and what I term 'actual', or 'true' hallucinations, which to me is a glitch in my brain making me hear things that aren't really there. Apart from my first couple of psychotic type episodes though, I've more or less always had retained insight, so that has made things a lot easier for me.

Transmissions from people, I'm not sure whether they're in the future transmitting them back to me like they used to be or if they're currently in lower earth orbit in some kind of satellite... The reason I can hear them has to do with hive minds, but I won't go into that. They're the ones who are manipulating me, trying to push me toward completing my mission.

There's one new voice (internal) that I think is some kind of doppelganger. Sometimes I see her as well. Sometimes my reflection doesn't feel like me and I think it's her... Like microphone feedback, I am hearing and seeing another version of myself.

i hear voice of people i think i'm telepathic and a mind reader.. i talk to people and depending on who i talk to they can be quite loving and compassionate, we have frequent conversations i feel happy when i talk to them... they are kind to me and are very sociable i've learned alot and my people to people skills have increased substantially because of this so sometimes i feel a lack of need to venture out extensively

When asked by psychoterapists I always say I have difficulties thinking it is my brain creating these voices. They seem too intelligent.
They were saying they were entities that contacted me for different reasons, but they told me different things (that they were angels, demi-gods, god). So I really have no idea who could that be.
Anyway I dont think it is my brain.

I always thought my voices were people spying on me. To this day I still believe that people can hear my voices because I often hear people repeat the thoughts that I think in my head. Just today I was in the grocery store thinking, "I hear voices because of you guys" and a woman said "right". I've been taking 100mg day/200 mg night of "gold standard" clozapine. I'm still hearing voices. I've tried about four medications. I used to think that people probed my body or bugged my house or maybe even the whole city. I've come to accept that I hear voices, but I'll never get used to what seems to be people hearing my thoughts.

I was pretty convinced my main voice was Lady Gaga and that she was telepathically contacting all of her Little Mons†ers in North America as a publicity stunt for her next album. And then telepathic communication with lots of people I know.

I still call her Lady Gaga, as she refers herself as that, and she's pretty supportive most of the time.

Then there's my Self, who is usually pretty derogatory.

This.. in addition to spirits of people that have passed over that are still lingering within the Earth realm. Sometimes, it's hard to really say.. angels? guides? dark entities? so many different kinds

i'll try to make it short and sweet. my first voice is Melissa, I also call her "the oracle" from the matrix. she predicts everything I want to say and don't want to say. it's maddening. then there is my soul and that voice is internal (not in the head). it is actually a somatic voice created by vibrations in my flesh and can produce itself everywhere. it's actually pretty complex. I can have one voice in my chest and one on each limb all saying the same thing or something different. it's kind of like talking underwater and hearing the vibrations. and there is the litany of others that I now call "one day wonders".

I believe most of it is just my brain malfunctioning, especially since it has/can be altered by medication and I think if it were aliens or telepathy or whatever that medication wouldn't affect it as much. I also believe there are demons and that they do affect what the voices say.
