I have a wood bed, it's white and has drawers under it instead of a empty space and the headboard is a shelf so I can put special things in there. I have a cathedral ceiling and one of those big windows that you have to put the long curtains on that touch the floor. Well about two years ago I woke up screaming, it was so scary and hard to describe. But when I woke up I stood up on my bed, jumped on the mattress and banged my head on the part of the cathedral ceiling that hangs down, then I lay down and went back to sleep. About 80 minutes later I woke up screaming and crying I fell off the bed and cried & screamed so much the carpet was wet under my face. I looked out the window and saw ghosts floating in and people, some from my dream talking very wicked and stuff, it was SOOOOOO Scary! I was not safe with a Bathrobe or under my blankets and stuffed animals with pillows, I was actually facing it. My parents took me to the Family Physician who said he was concerned and that this was not normal. Bad dreams are hard for me.,....... and when it happens in real life!
