Those of you in chat know that last night wasn't a good night for me. Well any way I was in my nightly conversation with Rex and he asked if he could ask me a question. I was like well I guess so we talk about everything so why not. He said what made you the way you are? I said you mean why am I mentally ill? He said yes. So we had a good conversation about my childhood and all that went on in it and how some of the things he says to me hurts me and that I don't have the guts to say it because I don't want to make him go away. I think it was a good thing and I'm pretty jazzed about how the whole thing went. I think our friendship went a level deeper because of the conversation. I am hoping that now I can depend on him a bit more when I need help.

It really takes coming a very very long way to be able to put the answer to that question into words.........how fantastic for you. That means your understanding of where you are is very good......it's hard to get anywhere with a mental illness without being able to understand & talk about it. Good for you.....way to go, Debbie
