so it looks like i need to completely forget about all my past experiencing psychotic events. I was on my favorite sofa again...and i started listening
to the faint voices slowly submerging myself into past psychotic events..
then OH MY GOD...it got worse....jeeeeeeez, cried again because
i felt like a failure who had psychosis but...i got up...got my school work out and started to read...i think those who have told me this is right...
that i need to forget the past and move on...
sometimes i feel like committing a mental suicide...
how? by letting my delusions take me over and live in it.
how would that be? nah...i would be losing my time for school..
im just ranting...it had to be done.
thanks for reading! my eyes are so puffed up. lol

That does not sound fun. I'm sorry you are being besieged by these voices. Does music help?

Were you singing along with the songs? I too had a weird response to music while psychotic...it was like I personalized the lyrics so it was about me but I found that if I actually sing the lyrics it overrides the part of my brain that was hallucinating and I can focus and not hear voices at all.

I have a weird relationship with music for the same reason. On the one hand, sometimes I need noise to cancel out the voices, but on the other hand, when things get really bad, I can't listen to music without getting messages from it...

phew~ yep! i had the same thing too, thinking it was about me... i remember i was listening to one song and i literally heard the music telling..me or whtever if it was the part of the music. to go tell me to jump off a building...and the voice was absolutely distorted too..
