What's your learning style? I've found that watching video lectures is the best way for me to learn, because I'm able to rewind and fast forward through the video. I have major difficulties with traditional classroom learning, but yet my IQ was once measured at 150. I can relate with John Nash, in fact I'm also good at math and my personality type is INTJ too. I'm a very slow reader, but pick up things extremely quick when shown. I have dyslexia dysgraphia, I can't spell worth a damn and have problems getting common words mixed up. Writing is usually a laborious process for me. I can't write legible notes in lecture classes, when that's not a requirement I usually get high grades, but when spontaneous writing is required I often will fail the class. Is this common with this illness?

According to the following quiz, my top two learning styles are Logical-Mathematical and Visual-Spatial. What Is Your Learning Style? | Edutopia

So for me I do great in any of the classroom learning styles but also hands on.....things get dicey with any sort of dance or music training but art is good. My key learning style at 92% was naturalistic. The next two down tied and were the same ones you had...at 75%. My iQ is around 140.

Thanks for posting this

naturalistic was a 100% interpersonal was 88% and mathematical was 63%. as long as I take notes and listen to the instructor I do very well. but of course this is assuming I'm remotely interested. I almost failed economics but was fascinated and could talk at great lengths about it with my professor but I do not do homework.

Possibly depression? A lot of the questions you had to rate things you liked doing etc so if you're a little down you might not rate those high enough to get a clear pattern? Just speculation...I have no idea how valid this quiz is anyway.

Musical 100%, Linguistic 92%, Inter and Intrapersonal both at 81%

I have attention problems, and I learn best if I get to do it. I ace my practical classes where I'm on my feet acting or where I'm playing an instrument or writing music. The courses that involve lectures and multiple choice or short answer exams I'm less good at. I just can't sustain attention, so I miss details. I have trouble summarizing, and I still haven't developed a good system for understanding textbook readings.

I don't know what my IQ is but in grade school I tested as gifted and was put in a special program. I think I'm less smart now - back then I was put in enriched math and science classes and those are my worst subject now. I was spelling and writing at a high school level even as a young kid.

i used to be extremely creative as a kid and very musical. i was in a band and played locally for a very short period of time. but i had fun and i was into punk culture so i made my own clothes. very elaborate sewing and patching. i made clothes for some people and theyd pay me and some wanted to desperately borrow my clothes. id be so nice and loan them to them for free. but i then id make them pay to loan them. idk what happened as a kid i think my illness just kicked in bad around 17 and 20 years old

im a very hands on learner. i have issues with people just talking to me because sometimes my thoughts are louder than their voice and they just sound like background noise. i am a fairly good writer and speller but am horrible at math. always have been. i can express myself thru words pretty easy, sometimes a lot easier than just using my voice.
