I'm sleeping way too much. I feel no energy. I don't see the psych nurse until the 25th. I really don't know what meds to lower so I'm just gonna wait until I see her. But I could start risperdal, although I'm really trying to take the least amount of meds possible. But the risperdal will give me more energy. I'm kinda trying to save the risperdal for bad paranoia and mixed states.

Any advice appreciated.

That's interesting that risperdal gives you energy. It knocks me out.

I wouldn't start or stop anything without the doc's ok though. Maybe you could call your doc and ask what to do?

I know, if I take 3mgs of risperdal a day I get hypo. But, then my appetite increases wayyyy too much. So I just stick to 1mg. But yeah risperdal gives me energy...

Yeah, I have times like that too--over sleeping, exhausted all the time...etc. However, risperdal did make me tired. If you can't get a quicker appointment do you have a plan for making it until the 25th? Posting on here is a good idea. I know how hard it is to make it through these difficult periods.....I feel for you.....

Could it be a matter of adjusting to your higher dose of meds?
How long has it been since they were raised? (((hug)))

I think the hyper mood that you're getting from the risperidone is a bit of akathesia.

Yeah, then I get kind of nervous, it's a pain...the caffeine seems to interact with my other meds.

It might be! Thanks for that. I raised my lamictal recently. Maybe I just need to wait it out. It's only been a week or so. Thanks.

Yeah, it could be. But it's a really good feeling. I've had like slight akathisia before and it felt not as bad as a full blown episode but like I was outta my body, and anxiety. If I take 2mgs of risperdal at once I get a little akathisia. I'm not sure but it feels good. Just the hunger is too much...
