Hello, I've been experiencing some pretty serious symptoms lately and I'm hoping someone can tell me if it's schizophrenia or just schizotypal personality disorder.

It all started about 6 years ago with social anxiety disorder but now it's progressed into other things. Today I believe I experienced thought broadcasting/insertion, illusions, delusions of grandeur and odd movements/stereotyped walking. I also have trouble daily with communicating both verbally and in writing which I think is part of a thought disorder. It's hard for me to tell how I'm behaving differently but people react to me very oddly in all interactions so I must be doing something terribly weird. Thanks for any help or insight.

No one here is a Doctor so we can't diagnose of course. There is a schizophrenia forum here that might be helpful for you.

Schizophrenia and Psychosis - Forums at Psych Central

Best advice is to been seen by a Doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Good luck

Your doctor is a good start for getting help with your symptoms, and PC and its folks are here for support.

You seem to be communicating fine on here, maybe your just getting yourself paranoid. If you really had delusions you wouldn't think you were delusional. Odd movements aren't necessarily indicative of anything and as far as the thought broadcasting, I don't know exactly what it was you experienced, but rarely is a one off occurence automatically indicative of a disorder
