I'm not happy. My grandma called me a drunkard and says I can't go over to her place for meals anymore. The worst part is, she called me that behind my back. She was on the phone to my brother. Of course, on the phone she brought up that I was in hospital because of a serious illness. I was on a psychiatric ward for three weeks. Despite me being back at home, she still can't get over it. I'm fine. I'm not going back to hospital without a fight. And I mean if they tried to get me to go back I will put up a fight. I'm just in a terrible mood right now. And to top it off I'm still being followed everywhere I go.

Haha indeed!

Yeah I have portal and portal 2 on my windows laptop which I play from time to time. I rarely use it though. Love macs, they just run so fluidly. Only problem is when the spinning wheel starts going and I never know what to do about it, just sit and wait! haha!

Glad the voices are clearing up for you....sorry about the motivation/concentration....some of that could definitely be the meds. I play lumosity and used to be in the 90th percentile but after starting meds have dropped to the 80th percentile it makes me really slow. Still I like the brain training because it helps me keep what I have and not get too much worse.
I read somewhere that brain training games don't really do a lot for you and only make you better at playing brain training games. I'll try find the link to the article, it explains it far better than I ever could.

Depends entirely on the game...things like crosswords don't work....but things like the n-back increase fluid intelligence. I play lumosity which is less critically tested than some of the stuff from posit and others trying to medicalized it but it's much cheaper. also depends if you are impaired or normal...there is less change for normal people but neuroplasticity helps people who are impaired a lot more.

Putting brain training to the test : Nature

There's the link to the paper I found on it. Seems like there's little evidence of cognitive improvement across the board.

Angelique, I'm gonna watch the news about that plane going missing, thanks for letting us know.

Well my son didn't get home until 9:30. He worked 9 hours in this snow and freezing cold. I had dinner ready for him, poor guy.

It's not snowing today but it's gonna be cold. He only works 5 hours today. Just so you guys know, he keeps all of his money. He doesn't even help with rent, which I think he should, I was paying my mom rent at 17.
Thanks for this!

My sister Kim doesn't think he should. Her kids are 25 and 28 and still in college and don't help her with rent. She's kinda the ruler in the family so all of my other sisters don't think he should be helping either....

Idk, right now I'm getting help from them but if I get disability I'm gonna change some things around here, lol.

I've always contributed when I was working. I'm not working now so my parents don't expect me to pay up. But if he's getting a wage, I think he should.

Haha it is prettier than a blue screen of death! Though it always reminds me of that family guy episode and makes me laugh:

Just reading about peoples experiences with ambien (zolpidem) and I can relate so much to them. Especially the "not remembering and most pills gone" part. I do some crazy **** on that drug. I tend to post crazy **** on here sometimes too, apologies!

I'm so anxious. I took hydroxyzine. I wish I could talk to my friend. Or even my sister.

I was thinking of that. But I have so much trouble typing I'm afraid it would make my anxiety worse. Plus, it's hard for me to read and think of anything to say. Thanks for the idea though.
